In Memory of Dr. Lee Dubois

Dec. 06, 1951 – Nov. 18, 2016

Our hearts are saddened by the unexpected loss of a valued client and very good friend.  Doc hunted with us for 10 seasons. Every fall we eagerly looked forward to his return.  Doc was more like family.

Our labs loved him and Maui, our little golden retriever, was crazy over Doc. She always had big smiles for him. Our smelly old barn cats even got pets from Doc.

It was always a pleasure to have Doc seated at the meal table in our home.  He enjoyed and appreciated Kathleen's home cooking.  He especially loved her homemade berry sauce, berry jam, and especially the berry pies.

Doc truly enjoyed all the aspects of waterfowl hunting - the dogs, the beautiful sunrises and scenery, the abundance of ducks and geese and other wildlife, and to being with his hunting buddies.

We admired his energy level and his willingness to always help out.  Doc respected and admired Ron's knowledge of where and how they were going to set up every hunt.  Doc's favorite expression this year (if asked for his opinion) was . . .  "We do not guide the guide."

We will always remember and honor Doc every waterfowl season and with every Saskatoon berry picked.   And toast our good friend with a shot of Gibson's finest.

 CHEERS to you Doc!
